SNOW!
We had a little bit of snow this year. See?
This is the street right outside our townhouse.

She stole Mommy's scarf. She sure looks cute though!
We had at least 14 inches on our back porch alone.
Ariana and Daddy on the way to the store. This was Christmas Eve Eve Eve.

This is what we saw right outside our second floor balcony. This was two days before it stopped snowing.
If there wasn't a tire track, Widget would be up to her ears!
Poor doggy! She had fun bouncing through it though.
This is Kinnaman Street for those of you who have been here. For those who have not, it is a main road by our house that, as you can see, is completely covered.
The parking lot of the grocery store across the street.
Ariana was throwing snow balls.

Photo Dump!!
Here is a mish-mesh of photos from the last few months. We have had some camera problems, some computer problems, and been really, really busy! I will include a small blurb if necessary. :)
I love this one of Jade! She was visiting and the kids were having a lot of fun in the bath. For some reason it doesn't show up as well in on the computer as it did when it was printed. Too bad - her eyes are gorgeous!
This is Ariana playing dress up with my clip-on earrings (from a student) and my barrette. She said she was a pretty princess. In the pictures below she is wearing her Christmas dress and a tiara for a princess birthday party we went to.

This is waiting for the MAX train to go to zoo lights on the day after Thanksgiving. I think she looks like she belongs to Georgia in this picture.
These are from the children's museum.

Another one from that fun bath time. This was Ariana's best photo.
These three are from Stewart and Ariana going to the park after visiting the library. It became a father-daughter tradition this summer. They go every weekend and Ariana makes sure I know I am not usually invited. :) Ahh....two-year-olds.

This is when Ariana let me put her hair in two braids. It did not last long because her hair is so curly it kinked up after a few hours.
Her new brown and gold shirt that grandma bought her to match her gold shoes. Jade has the same shirt and shoes. :)
Ariana was a butterfly for Halloween. Isn't she cute?

Children's Museum
Ariana and I went to the Portland Children's Museum. She had a blast! This is her digging in the Dig Pit. It looks like little rocks but is actually pieces of recycled tires.
You could move the blue and yellow panels to make the water flow different directions. They had boats, rubber duckies, and other animals to "race" down the water way.
This was the face painting area. Ariana thought the idea of drawing on her face was wonderful! I hope I haven't started something. Now I am just waiting for her to try it with her markers someday. :)
Pretty, huh? She did it all herself.
Driving the bus! This is what she talked about the whole way home and when describing the trip to Daddy. Now she thinks she should be allowed to drive the car.
She got off the bus to get her stroller. She wanted to make sure it went with her.
Feeding the dinosaur. She even made munching sounds. :)
Making dinosaur tracks.

The water room: Ariana would have stayed in here the whole time if I hadn't pulled her on to the next room. She is definitely a water baby! I love the little smocks they have so that the kids don't get too wet.
