Sleeping

It was sad because she was really not feeling well but these pictures were so darn cute. She had a really bad tummy bug and felt terrible. I know she was exhausted. She was watching Baby Einstein in her little chair and she fell asleep.

Shoes

Now that she is walking Ariana has started wearing shoes when we go outside. Her doctor called them "little helmets for the feet" and said that it is a good idea for babies who are walking to wear them. Ariana loves her shoes and even brings them to me to put on her in the house. Sometimes she is only wearing shoes and a diaper. Brown Mary Janes

Enchanted Forest

Jennifer, Darin, Emily, Jade, Ariana, and I went to the Enchanted Forest which is a theme park just south of Salem. It is themed with fairy tales and nursery rhymes. We have been going there since we were kids and it is great to get to take our children now.
Here is Ariana peeking into the cottage of the seven dwarfs. She is watching Snow White sweep the floor with all the little animals around her. Ariana was fascinated by this and kept switching which window she was looking through.

Here we are coming out of the keyhole after just falling (crawling) down the rabbit hole.


This is the slide out of the witch's mouth. It is a lot more tame than the next one which is the tongue of the Old Woman's Shoe but is still fun.


I love this picture even though it is fuzzy. I wasn't sitting far enough down on the mat I guess because as we went down it flew up. I love that all you can see of Ariana is her little head poking out.



We watched the play "The Emperor's New Clothes" and Jade and Ariana played in the bark dust.



Jade had a piece of dirt stuck to her nose for a long time. She was so cute!

Ariana's Birthday and Party

These pictures are from Ariana's actual birthday when she was still sick and from her rescheduled party on the Saturday after.

The Zoo - July 16th

Mom, Emily, Jade, Ariana, and I went to the zoo for Jade's first visit. Ariana still had a fever but she likes the animals so much I think it cheered her up for a bit. Jade loves being in the front pack and she seemed to really like the zoo - especially when we let her play on the grass for a bit.
