Mary's Birthday Party

We went to Mary's first birthday party on Memorial Day. She is 7 weeks older than Ariana to the day. Both girls were born on a Monday. Aren't they cute together?




Ariana had a lot of fun with this piano. She was banging away making "music." It is the perfect size for her.


Ariana loved this tool bench. She and Mary would elbow each other out of the way to get to the toy.


Poor Mary! Ariana was playing with all Mary's toys before Mary had a chance to. I don't know that she minded too much though. Ariana needs some Weebles. Maybe she will get some for her birthday.

Trip to Great Grandma's and the Zoo

Ariana had a great time in the bath the other night. She was playing with a wooden spoon and kept stirring and splashing the bath water.



We went to visit Great Grandma last weekend. Ariana showed off by walking her school bus around the kitchen.






We went to the zoo after school one day. The weather was perfect! It was slightly overcast but not really cold. The animals were out and there weren't very many people. We got some great photos and Ariana got to get out of her stroller and move around.

Mother's Day!

Ariana and I went to Picture People for Mother's Day and for her 10-month pictures (she will be 10 months on Thursday). She has had a bit of a fever and has not been feeling well so these are not the best pictures we have ever taken but they are still good.



She looks so tall in this picture! She looks more like a 2-year-old than a 10-month-old.



Ariana was very interested in the rose.

Self-Feeding

Ariana is becoming so independent. She was frustrated with her dinner last night until we let her feed herself. This was her second time having chicken. I think she liked it but is confused by the texture. She had more fun playing with the chicken and she did manage to feed herself quite a bit. She was a mess as you can see! It is a good thing bath time comes right after dinner. :)
