The Beach - July 15th

While Mom, Emily, and Jade were here visiting, we had a large family gathering at the coast. This was the first time at the beach for both Ariana and Jade. Jade, being the little nature baby that she is, had a fabulous time. Ariana did not like the sand but did enjoy the water. When we got home that night Ariana broke out with a fever of over 104. That may have been why she did not seem to like the beach as much. We will have to try again. We still got some really good pictures though. Emily later found a onesie for Jade that said "Caution: Will eat sand." It would have been perfect for that day. She ate a lot of it! :)

Guess Who's Walking!

She started taking more than one step today. She has been taking 5 or 6 steps in a row before she gets to her destination! We didn't get pictures because we were too excited about the actual walking but I will post some once we get them. I guess 7 is her lucky number.

Fourth of July

Here are some photos from July 4th. Ariana helped me make the shirt she is wearing and she decided to taste the paint. Her new big thing for that day was standing for minutes at a time without support. She will be walking soon. Go baby! I included a few others which are just plain cute.

Moving

Ariana helped me pack to move into the new house. She climbed into the cupboard and passed me everything she could lift so I could put it in the box.



Then we had to pack her of course.

Then she helped me unpack at the new house. She took that pan out of the box and stood in it - all by herself. :)

Father's Day

We went to People Picture again for Father's day and Stewart and Ariana got some great pictures. These are the ones we ordered.

Swimming!

We took Ariana swimming in our pool for the first time on Monday. It was in the 90s here. She loved the water but did not like it when she splashed herself in the face. I am glad she liked it because I plan to spend a lot of time over there this summer.

Mary's Birthday Party

We went to Mary's first birthday party on Memorial Day. She is 7 weeks older than Ariana to the day. Both girls were born on a Monday. Aren't they cute together?




Ariana had a lot of fun with this piano. She was banging away making "music." It is the perfect size for her.


Ariana loved this tool bench. She and Mary would elbow each other out of the way to get to the toy.


Poor Mary! Ariana was playing with all Mary's toys before Mary had a chance to. I don't know that she minded too much though. Ariana needs some Weebles. Maybe she will get some for her birthday.
